Festival

A public Citizen Science Festival organised by Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD), the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) and the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin (MfN) will take place as part of the conference on 14.-15. October 2020 at the Kulturbrauerei.

The Citizen Science Festival 2020 follows the same themes as those of the international conference and aims to show how citizen science can contribute to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and achieving a more sustainable society. Citizen science projects from Europe and beyond are invited to showcase their projects and results at market stands and invite visitors to the festival.

Due to the restrictions of the Coronavirus most international projects cannot attend the Festival in Berlin and will therefore showcase their work on the conference platform HopIn – free of cost for visitors to attend.

Visitors can discover exciting research, exchange ideas or observe and enjoy the hustle and bustle. The Citizen Science projects are looking forward to welcoming you to their virtual booth at HopIn LIVE

on Wednesday, 14. October 2020 from 17.30 – 18.30 CEST

on Thursday, 15. October 2020 from 12.30 – 13.30 CEST

In addition, you can virtually stroll over the Festival anytime and explore exciting features and insides about each Citizen Science project all day long.
